Mondays
Headline are four 24 year olds from Swansea. Front man Matt Turner and
guitarist Kristian Tabram formed a band along with friends they made at
University in the late 00's. After finishing uni, Matthew and Kristian moved
back to Swansea. After a brief hiatus for the band they recruited long time
friend Nick Richards on the bass and this is when the band became known as
Monday's Headline. The band began writing new material and touring Swansea for
about a year before their original drummer left. Tom Waters joined shortly
after to complete the line up and took up duties on drums. From here the band
recorded their first self titled EP in early 2012. The album was recorded and produced
by Romesh Dodangoda at his Long Wave Studio in Cardiff. The E.P is available to
listen to on the band's official website www.mondaysheadline.com,
iTunes, Spotify and Amazon. The bands is getting local and national radio
attention, and are now headlining gigs at thought after venues across the country;
this including two recent headlining shows at the world famous Dublin Castle in
Camden Town, London. The band are constantly working hard, writing, recording
and gigging to achieve their life ambition of getting signed to a record label.
