Joel Ramsay,
21, originally from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, but now living in Cardiff;
began his music career at the age of 13 performing in different bands. In his
first band Joel was originally the drummer for a few years before switching
over to guitar, and eventually lead vocals. Joel’s first band was called ‘The
Cardinal Sins’, before moving onto his next band, ‘The Elevation’, then his
last band was called ‘Fuzion’, where they enjoyed quite a big following on the
live music scene.
Now after
putting in the ground work and gaining experience with bands Joel is focusing
on building up his own solo music career; he is inspired by acts like, Ben
Howard, Biffy Clyro and other artists such as Zomboy and Skrillex have inspired
him to get the ball rolling with his own solo music career. Joel is also
inspired by his friends and family who give him constant support in all he
does. Joel’s main ambitions within his own music career is to be able to travel
all over the world performing in his own shows, meet other musicians that can
help him improve as a musician and to build up a successful recording career,
and get his music heard by a wider audience.
