Soap

Another brilliant band being entered into our £5,000 music competition is 'Soap'.

Soap, are an exciting four piece Alt Blues-Rock band based in Swansea Wales, formed in 2012. They have played shows in the South Wales area and are pushing to play more throughout England this year.

Jack Monopoli - (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Argent Davies - (Lead Guitar, Vocals) and Harry Watkins - (Bass, Backing Vocals) formed the band back in 2012 with Oscar Feiven - (Drums, Backing Vocals) joining shortly after.

Soap released their first EP 'Soap' in FEB 2013 and their second E.P 'Marmalade' In May.

2014

The PLF are looking forward to fully launching the business in 2014. Our new events business is ready to launch and so is our casting agency. We are also looking forward to launching our charity project, at present it is not a charity, just a charitable project that is supported by the events of the business. We'd like to wish everyone good luck who works with us; lets hope we can find the new stars on tomorrow today!

Jack Cox

Another person short listed for a reality TV programme and to be on our agency books is Jack Cox.

Jack Cox is a 25 year old living in Cardiff; he was born in London but grew up in Cornwall; before moving to Cardiff to attend university; although since graduating Jack has settled in Cardiff as he loves the place. Five words that best describe Jack are, confident, outgoing, stubborn, reliable and passionate.

 

The people that inspire Jack the most in his life are his parents; as they are extremely hard working but they also had time to make life fun, they have worked hard everyday of their lives to give him the best foundations for starting his own life, and this is what he intends to do for his own family in the future.

 

Having worked in the public sector his entire working life, Jack mostly enjoys meeting new people in all different scenarios, and after running his own successful night club nights, Jack intends to take those events global through his own business, partying in every place he goes; and he will go to great lengths to help make any of his events a memorable experience, as he is always looking for new ideas on how to make an event epic!

 

 

Richard Dyke

Another person short listed for a reality TV programme and to be on our agency books is Richard Dyke.

Rich is a 25 year old, originally from South-West of England. He moved to Cardiff to attend university but loved the place so much he decided to stay after he had graduated from his degree in music technology.

 

The five words that best describe Rich are, cheeky, ambitious, driven, organised and outgoing. Rich doesn't really look up to any one person, but he admires people who are ambitious and courageous; "These don't always come in a business setting, as there are many things in life that call for you to be courageous and ambitious".

 

On a personal level the thing that Rich would most like to achieve in life is to visit as much of the world as possible, this is because different cultures fascinate him, being that he is naturally inquisitive; he just wants to know what else is out there.

 

Upon his graduation from uni, Rich set up his own artist, tour management and promotions company, called 'Listen to this'; his business has already allowed him to do some really great things and see parts of the world he'd never thought he'd get to see. His greatest achievement so far is being awarded a young entrepreneurs bursary for his company. In his career there are two bands that he considers the pinnacle of his job; (1) A Day To Remember, and (2) Bring Me The Horizon; both these bands Rich has listened to and been a fan of for years; and getting to work with either of them would be a great achievement for him'.

 

 

Sarah Johns

Another singer chosen for our £5,000 music giveaway competition is, Sarah Johns,  a 19 year old amateur singer from Swansea. Sarah wants to get into the music industry because she has a deep passion and love for music; her dream would be to be creating her own albums and have her music heard and appreciated by a wide audience; she would love her music to touch people and put smiles on their faces, and she hopes that people could relate to the music that she has helped create.

Sarah doesn't have a favourite band or singer, but she really likes acts like, KT Tunstall, The Beatles, Oasis, blur, Monkeys and The Clash, to name a few. Sarah is currently building up her confidence in the hope of achieving her music career goals/ambitions'.

Naylan Thomas

Another person short listed for a reality TV programme & to be on our agency books is Naylan.

Naylan Thomas, who is 22 and lives in the South Wales Valleys. Naylan has lived in the South Wales valley's all his life and says it is the best ...place to live, as everyone knows everyone and it's great to be part of a close community.


The five words that best describe Naylan are, 'outrageous', 'generous', 'focussed', 'enthusiastic' and 'fun'. This is who he is and how he lives his life; he never dwells on the past, as he lives for 'the now'; and he is focused to work hard to make sure his future is as amazing as it can be, because he grabs every opportunity that comes his way.


Richard Branson and Alan Sugar are people that inspire Naylan to succeed, as they worked hard to achieve their goals, just like he intends to. Naylan has a very caring side, as he intends to work hard to achieve his dreams but he'd also like the opportunity to help other people achieve their own personal dreams too. If there was anything in the world Naylan could do, that would be to make everyone happy.


Almost a year ago Naylan set up his own children's entertainment company and he feels it's the best thing he's ever done; he finds the work so very rewarding, seeing the children have so much fun and seeing the parents enjoying the fact that their children are having so much fun.


Naylan is a fun loving person, who is always happy to help others; his motto in life is, "if I can help, I will".

 

 

Hannah Bishop

Someone short listed for a reality TV programme & to be on our agency books is Hannah.

Hannah Bishop is a 20 year old from Cardiff; her many career ambitions are to be a television star, tattoo model, become a voice-over actress, create he...r own t-shirt range, have a clothes line for children and dogs, become a television presenter and own her own tattoo shop. It is no wonder that Hannah is inspired by successful women like 'Kim Kardashian', who she feels is beautiful and a successful entrepreneur and business woman.


 The five words that best describe Hannah are, 'Party girl', because she has a wild side. 'Ambitious', as you can see from the things she's aiming to do. 'Funny', because she is popular and always ready to have a laugh with her friends; and the final word to best describe Hannah is 'kind', because she has a caring side and is always willing to do all she can to help others."

Hannah has the chance of winning £5,000!

 

 

Emilia Trond

Another brilliant singer is being entered into our £5,000 music competition. Emilia Trond is a 26 year old, originally from Norway, but moved to South Wales (UK) almost three years ago to be with her boyfriend. They are planning on getting married next year.

Emilia has already had a little success in the music industry, she had a small recording deal when she was 17, and she used to sing in a girl band who toured all over Europe. Emilia is influenced by artists like, Tina Turner, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Ella Fitzgerald and Eva Cassidy (to name a few); her main goal and ambition is to start recording again and hopefully tour around the UK and Europe.

Reality TV / audition competition

The Pulsing light foundation are pleased to announce that we are now launching a competition for everyone who goes through the audition process, to star in one of the reality TV programmes that we are casting for. Everyone who auditions will automatically go onto our book (for 12 months); we will then upload their profile (photo & bio) onto our web pages; this could increase their chances of getting cast in other programmes, or finding them extra work. At the end of the year, everyone's name will be entered into our competition, and one name will be selected at random, and that person will win £5,000. The winners name will be posted on all our web-pages.

Carmarhtenshire group

The first group to audition for a chance to appear in a reality TV programme are 3 people from the Carmarthenshire area. Tony Phillpott, who is a 47 year old builder, has 3 children and is currently single; he likes going to pubs, clubs and restaurants; he has ambitions of becoming a stand up comic.

Sarah Bevan is 21 years old and currently in university studying drama; her main ambition is to become a stage and TV actress, and hopefully later on get into writing and directing.

Ian Morris is 23 years old and a complete fitness fanatic; he is currently unemployed, but his long term ambitions would be to star in a reality TV show like 'Geordie shore', he believes he is a real ladies man, and he can charm any lady off her feet!

These three people who have auditioned will be entered into our competition and have the chance of winning £5,000 at the end of the year. The winners name will be picked at random and announced on all our web pages.

Reality TV stars

The Pulsing light foundation are now looking for people who want to be reality TV stars as we are involved in casting for some new reality TV shows!

Nash

Another artist selected to enter our £5,000 music giveaway competition is; Nash a 19 year old rapper / singer from Stanford-Le-Hope, in Essex; he is influenced by acts such as Canadian rapper 'Drake' and other artists like 'The Weekend', 'Big Sean', 'Chris Brown', 'Kanye West', 'Lil Wayne', 'Eminem', 'Justine Bieber' and 'Nicki Minaj'.

Nash's vocal style is mostly like that of Drake, he likes to mix his raps with melodies. When rapping Nash tends to have a style that would represent a mixture of Drake, Big Sean and Nicki Minaj; although his sung vocals tend to sound more soulful.

Nash's lyrics often depict struggles that he has been through &/or the people around him. These struggles could include love, money, isolation and rejection. Other times he writes about the good things in and about his life. Nash likes to use poetic devices like similes and metaphors in his lyrics to give the audience a clear picture of what he means when he says certain things.

Nash has big dreams for his future; his long term goal would be to launch his own record label and be able to help other artists develop and share their souls with the world. Music is his passion and he doesn't believe that there is anyone who will ever be able to stop him from achieving his targets.

Joel Ramsay

Joel Ramsay, 21, originally from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, but now living in Cardiff; began his music career at the age of 13 performing in different bands. In his first band Joel was originally the drummer for a few years before switching over to guitar, and eventually lead vocals. Joel’s first band was called ‘The Cardinal Sins’, before moving onto his next band, ‘The Elevation’, then his last band was called ‘Fuzion’, where they enjoyed quite a big following on the live music scene.

Now after putting in the ground work and gaining experience with bands Joel is focusing on building up his own solo music career; he is inspired by acts like, Ben Howard, Biffy Clyro and other artists such as Zomboy and Skrillex have inspired him to get the ball rolling with his own solo music career. Joel is also inspired by his friends and family who give him constant support in all he does. Joel’s main ambitions within his own music career is to be able to travel all over the world performing in his own shows, meet other musicians that can help him improve as a musician and to build up a successful recording career, and get his music heard by a wider audience.
