2017 - Stage one - Music project details

Most charities, charitable projects and good causes couldn't survive without the help they get from local bands/singers/musicians & choirs; so many talented local acts give so much of their time to help good causes, and usually they get nothing in return for their hard work. That is one of the reasons why we decided to set up this project; to give something back and say thank you to all the different acts/musicians for all their hard work and dedication.

Every band/singer/musician or choir that has helped a charity, charitable project or good cause can enter our competition, and have the chance of winning £1,200. The winner will be chosen at random and announced through our social media sites.

Stage one alterations

Before we launch our music project we have slightly tweaked up stage one of the music project. Instead of giving away £7,500, we're now giving away £1,200. We are still giving  £7,500 but that will now be part of stage two of our music project.

The band/singer/choir who wins the £1,200 will be chosen at random, and it is available to any band/singer/choir who regularly help out charities, charitable projects and good causes. This is our way of thanking them for all of their hard work and dedication.

Sophie Soltau

Congratulations to the vocalist behind this track  https://youtu.be/41IkN4wpAEE

Sophie Soltau; she is now our first main success, after we have got her signed up with an Asian tour/booking agent. This is the beginning of Sophie's professional music career.

We are now on the lookout for more talented bands and singers, as this is just the beginning of our success. Our aim is to find the best talent and help get bands/singers signed up.

Signed merchandise

At the Pulsing Light Foundation we are always surprised by what people ask for; sometimes it's something big, while other times it's something small and simple!

This week we were able to help a terminally ill women with a small wish she had. All she wanted was to have some signed merchandise from some of her favourite artistes. We were happy to help her achieve this very small thing.

We would also like to say thank you to everyone who supports us and our projects, this allows us to continue our good work.

Helping women in Gaza / Palestine

A few months ago we found out about several women in Gaza who needed a little help. The women in Gaza were battling breast cancer and sadly due to the treatment all their hair has fallen out. The women weren't worried about their hair loss, but they were worried about the fact that their young children were getting distressed and upset at seeing their mothers hair fall out; so we decided to do a little something to help.

Most people would assume that something like this wouldn't affect a Muslim woman because they usually wear a headscarf, but the Muslim women who do wear a headscarf don't wear it 24 hours of the day. This is why we sent several 'top quality' real human hair wigs to the women in Gaza / Palestine. This is only something small, but this small thing will help take away part of the stress the family are going through.

Sadly due to all the economic and political problems currently going on in Gaza, the hospitals have run out of all cancer treatment / medication and they're completely reliant on hospitals in the West Bank. Hopefully this situation will improve soon.

Music project / Stage one

With our new improved music project, we have decided to set things up slightly different. Nearly all bands and singers do lots of charity gigs each year. There are so many charities, charitable projects and good causes who rely on this help from different bands and singers; in fact an awful lot of them wouldn't be able to do the good they do without the help they receive from bands and singers, and Usually the bands and singers make nothing from all the charity fundraising gigs they do.

We at the Pulsing Light Foundation  (PLF) have decided to change things. We have created an opportunity for the different bands and singers who help out all the different charities, charitable project and good causes. Any band or singer who does charity gigs are allowed to enter our music project / competition. They will then have the opportunity of winning  £7,500. We are doing this on behalf of the charities, charitable projects and good causes as a way of saying 'thank you' for all your hard work, commitment and support.

Every band and singer that enters stage one of our music project / competition will have their details added to our social media sites, and because we (the Pulsing Light Foundation) are music industry consultants / agents; the bands and singers will be seen by other music industry executives; so not only will they have the chance of winning  £7,500, they could also get signed up by someone. Maybe a music manager, a record company, a music angel (investor), a tour / booking agent or perhaps a film producer, looking for music to include in a film soundtrack. The opportunities are endless with all our contacts in the music industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for the band / singer to get their lucky break into the music industry.

Our aim is to make you successful; so if we find any industry people interested in working with a particular band or singer, we will work along side them to help put together a professional presentation, to help them get signed, and that would be stage two of the music project.

Stage one of our music project is open to any band / singer who regularly performs live and does charity gigs. At the end of the year, our team make a selection of the best bands and singers and one of them will win the  £7,500.
