Test launch!

After spending many months researching and building up our industry contact list, we have made some exciting changes to our music project, to make it one of the best opportunities on offer for any budding professional musician.

All we need now is to find the best bands and solo singers and give them the exposure they need! Let's find the biggest stars of tomorrow today!

The PLF music project / Six parts - benefits.

The six main parts/benefits of getting involved with our music project are as follows;

(1) You have the chance of winning a £7,500 investment / grant.

(2) We will work with you to find out what you want to achieve, then we'll put together an action plan; then work on trying to get you signed. We have over 120 different industry contacts, working within' different areas of the music industry, ranging from managers, publishers, live booking agents, record company A&R's, advertising agents  (who find music for commercials), different producers and film production companies, who are looking for music for different film projects.

(3) We guarantee to find you a small  (one-off) deal, either with a special documentary, a special compilation album, or something similar that is released and promoted internationally.

(4) We arrange show case music events for different industry people; so if a record company or someone similar is interested in you and they want to audition you, to hear you and see you 'live', we arrange this.

(5) Every band and solo singer we work with during the year; we include in a book, published internationally. The book will be about the best 'live' bands of the year, and about the bands / singers  who do the most for charity and good causes. *(Please note, the book will only get published if we have enough bands & solo singers).

(6) We also have regular competition 'give-aways' during the year; where we select people at random and they win things like free studio time, new equipment, semi - professional music videos, even holidays or special gigs.

Music competition update

We are pleased to announce a slight change to our music competition. We're happy to say that our investors have increased the money on offer. Instead of giving away  £5,000, we've had the money increased to  £7,500, but we're getting an additional  £2,500 on the grounds we change the give away competition and make it an investment / grant.

This means that the winner of the money won't be chosen at random, instead we're going to select the winner from one of the best bands / singers we work with throughout the year.

Our first £5,000 music competition winner!

Finally, we have chosen our first music competition winner; initially we picked the winner back in January, but it took us a while to get in touch with the winners family.

The first winner of our £5,000 music competition giveaway is Emilia Trond. Emilia got selected in 2013, but unfortunately Emilia passed away in 2015. Emilia was a gifted muscician with a beautiful voice. We have spoken with Emilia's family and passed the winnings onto them; they are delighted that Emilia won, but they aren't ready to share her gift yet, so we hope that we'll be able to do something to promote Emilia's voice later this year or next year, once the family are ready.

Thank you Emilia for entering our competition and rest in peace. When we pass away we leave foot prints behind. Emilia's footprint will be her beautiful voice.

Thank you also to all the bands and singers who entered our competition; and thank you for your patience; it has taken us a long time to get this music project up and running, and finally it is! We spent two years 'testing' out the music business project, and it has taken around another two years to get this project up and running.

Congratulations Emilia Trond on being the first winner of the PLF's music giveaway competition. We are now searching for the next £5,000 winner.

Gerald Houlihan

Sadly the first post we are making this new year is to bring sad news. One of the people who was benefiting from the PLF has passed away. R.I.P Gerald Houlihan; we had originally planned to do 3 small things to help Gerald and his family, but sadly his illness got worse and we only managed to do one thing for Gerald, but hopefully later on this year we will do one of the other things, and help his family celebrate his 50th birthday, sadly without him though! Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
